Serene is one of EV Dance’s emerging senior coaches — a LASALLE College of the Arts Dance graduate with cross-style technical training and a track record of CSTD Jazz coaching success.
About Serene
Born 2000, Serene completed her Dance degree at LASALLE alongside extensive training in RAD Ballet, CSTD Jazz, Salsa, Tap, and Hip Hop. She has also completed:
- The Developing Artiste Programme with EV Dance and Jitterbugs Swingapore
- The Moving Arts Scholars Programme
During her time at LASALLE, Serene worked with renowned local and international choreographers including Theo Clinkard, Liz Roche, Jacky Yu, Martin Schick, Melissa Quek, Susan Sentler, and Barbara Matijevic.
She has coached her CSTD Jazz dancers to excellent competition results, demonstrating an ability to nurture talent and bring out students’ best work.
Looking ahead, Serene is interested in dance and movement therapy — exploring how dance can be used as a therapeutic tool for individuals.
